Another classic I'm currently reading is "The Man In The Mirror" by Patrick Morley, founder and CEO of the non-profit by the same name.  "Thoughtful and practical", says Jack Eckerd.

I've thought a lot about those words and the type of leader I want to be.  What do I want people to say about me when I leave this life?  What will be my legacy? 

Paul J. Meyer, whom many consider to be "the founder of the personal development industry" pretty-well sums it up, saying, "When all is said and done, each of us will leave only 4 things behind:

                                1. Memories - thoughts that others have of us
                                2. Souvenirs - proof of our existence
                                3. Trophies -  records of our achievements
                                4. Legacies - everything you are and possess today

"Eventually, memories will fade and souvenirs and trophies will be lost, stolen, or sold at garage sales.  Only your legacy will remain."

Admittedly, preparing a good legacy will take time and money . . . but don't let that stop you!  Sometime in 2012, I began suggesting to everyone who would listen, four steps toward building a positive, lasting legacy . . . I'd like to offer these to you without comment:

                                          4 Steps To A Positive Legacy
                                    1. Be more . . . .
                                    2. Do more . . . .
                                    3. Have more . . . .
                                    4. Give more . . . .
